13.03.2025 : Bewonersinitiatieven om te verduurzamen komen steeds vaker voor en werken vaak beter en goedkoper dan grote projecten die door gemeenten of commerciële energiebedrijven worden georganiseerd.

KetelhuisWG in Amsterdam
Een voorbeeld van dit soort initiatieven werd onlangs verkend in Nu.nl.
In de Amsterdamse WG-buurt is een groep bewoners al zes jaar bezig met de bouw en voorbereiding van een warmtenet in de wijk. Nu het project bijna is afgerond, hoopt de bewonersgroep dat anderen kunnen leren en profiteren van hun ervaringen.

Verduurzaming & VvE's
Vaak loopt het uit de hand bij verenigingen van eigenaren (vve's). Dat terwijl de grote massa in Nederland bij een VvE zit en nog moet gaan verduurzamen. Hoe krijg je nu honderden buren mee om samen te gaan verduurzamen? Geen gemakkelijke klus, maar Lodewijk Berkhout heeft het antwoord. Sterker nog, Lodewijk schreef er een playbook over. Sustainability - Resident initiatives
Residents' initiatives to make their homes more sustainable are becoming increasingly common and they often turn out better and cheaper than large projects organised by municipalities or commercial energy companies.
One example of these types of initiatives was recently explored in Nu.nl.

KetelhuisWG in Amsterdam
In the Amsterdam WG neighbourhood, a group of residents has been working on the construction and preparation of a heating network in the neighbourhood for six years. Now that the project is almost completed, the residents' group hopes that others can learn and benefit from their experiences.

Sustainability & VvEs
Things often get out of hand in homeowners' associations (vvEs). While the vast majority in the Netherlands are members of a VvE and still have to make their homes more sustainable. How do you get hundreds of neighbours on board to make their homes more sustainable together? Not an easy task, but Lodewijk Berkhout has the answer. In fact, Lodewijk wrote a playbook about it.
