Officiële opening Duurzaamheidsloket / Official opening of the Sustainability Desk

13.03.2025 : Na al een paar weken te hebben proefgedraaid, wordt woensdag 19 maart om 14.00 uur het Duurzaamheidsloket officieel geopend. Wethouder Yvonne van Delft zal de opening verrichten.

Het loket is onderdeel van het Duurzaamheidscentrum Leiden. Een initiatief ontstaan vanuit het Netwerk Leiden Sneller Duurzaam met als doel om alle groene en duurzame organisaties een plek te geven en ze met elkaar en de stad te verbinden. Een plek ook voor alle Leidenaren die stappen willen zetten voor een groener en duurzamer huis, omgeving en Leiden.
Deze woensdag zullen verschillende vrijwillige adviseurs aanwezig zijn en is er voor de kinderen een workshop Blije Bijen (zaad)Bommen maken.

Extra voor "Week van de circulariteit"
Omdat het deze week ook de week van de circulariteit is, is The Sustainable Superstore aanwezig. Dit is een online warenhuis waar je circulaire, lokaal geproduceerde en duurzame producten vindt. Deze middag nemen ze een selectie van hun impactmakers mee, zodat je hun producten kunt zien, het verhaal erachter kunt ontdekken én direct mee naar huis kunt nemen. En om 16.00 uur, en mogelijk eerder maar dat is op dit moment nog niet zeker, opent Rechtstreex de deuren om te proeven en natuurlijk je bestelde boodschappen op te halen.

Het is deze dag dus een feestdag voor iedereen, die de omslag naar een duurzamere samenleving een warm hart toedracht. Dus kom vooral langs!

Official opening of the Sustainability Desk
After a few weeks of trial runs, the Sustainability Desk will be officially opened on Wednesday 19 March at 2:00 PM. Alderman Yvonne van Delft will perform the opening.
The desk is part of the Sustainability Center Leiden. An initiative that originated from the Leiden Faster Sustainable Network with the aim of giving all green and sustainable organizations a place and connecting them with each other and the city. A place for all Leiden residents who want to take steps towards a greener and more sustainable home, environment and Leiden.
This Wednesday, various volunteer advisors will be present and there will be a workshop for children on making Happy Bees (seed) bombs.

Extra for the Week of circularity
Because this week is also the week of circularity, The Sustainable Superstore will be present. This is an online department store where you can find circular, locally produced and sustainable products. This afternoon, they will bring a selection of their impact makers, so that you can see their products, discover the story behind them and take them home with you straight away. And at 4:00 PM, and possibly earlier but that is not yet certain, Rechtstreex will open its doors for tasting and of course to pick up your ordered groceries.

This day is therefore a holiday for everyone who cares about the transition to a more sustainable society. So come by!
