13.01.2025 : Op de route van station Leiden Centraal naar de binnenstad – de stadsentree – rijden straks bijna geen auto’s en helemaal geen bussen meer.

Om de verkeersveiligheid te verbeteren, geven we de ruimte aan fietsers en voetgangers en krijgen de Stationsweg, Steenstraat, Prinsessekade, Turfmarkt en Kort Rapenburg een nieuwe inrichting.

Hoe kan ik meedenken?
Op dinsdagavond 14 januari van 19.00 tot 21.30 uur is er een startbijeenkomst in de foyer van het Stadhuis. Tijdens deze avond informeren wij u over het project. Ook is er volop ruimte om in gesprek te gaan en uw aandachtspunten, kansen en zorgen te bespreken. Aanmelden is niet nodig.

Daarnaast kunt u op maandag 27 januari en dinsdag 28 januari om 16.30 uur met het projectteam wandelen door het gebied en onderweg in gesprek gaan. Aanmelden kan via stadsentree@leiden.nl.
Ook HIER kunt u meedenken, vul de vragenlijst in of vraag aandacht voor een bepaalde plek in het gebied en prik hem op de kaart. We zijn benieuwd naar uw reactie!

What is your idea for the new city entrance?
There will soon be almost no cars and no buses on the route from Leiden Central Station to the city centre – the city entrance. To improve road safety, we will give space to cyclists and pedestrians and the Stationsweg, Steenstraat, Prinsessekade, Turfmarkt and Kort Rapenburg will be redesigned.

How can I think along?
On Tuesday evening 14 January from 19:00 to 21:30 there will be a kick-off meeting in the foyer of the City Hall. During this evening we will inform you about the project. There will also be plenty of opportunity to talk and discuss your points of interest, opportunities and concerns. Registration is not required.

In addition, on Monday 27 January and Tuesday 28 January at 16:30 you can walk through the area with the project team and talk along the way. You can register via stadsentree@leiden.nl.

Also HERE you can think along, fill in the questionnaire or ask for attention for a specific spot in the area and pin it on the map. We are curious about your response!
