Culturele uitwisseling scholieren / Cultural exchange schoolkinderen
26.09.2024 : Het programma High School Holland biedt buitenlandse jongeren in de leeftijd van 14 tot 18 de unieke kans om een periode van 3 tot 10 maanden naar Nederland te komen.
Tijdens hun verblijf worden ze ondergedompeld in de Nederlandse taal en cultuur. Ze worden in hun gastgezin opgenomen als extra gezinslid en worden leerling op een regulier Nederlandstalig Havo of VWO. Binnen drie maanden spreken ze prima Nederlands!
Een deel van de scholieren zijn geplaatst en hebben een thuis vanaf augustus/september, maar voor een deel van hen zoeken wij nog een gastgezin. Zo heeft een middelbare school in uw omgeving toezegging gedaan op het accepteren en plaatsen van scholieren, maar zoeken wij nog een thuis voor hen.

Cultural exchange pupils
The High School Holland program offers foreign youngsters between the ages of 14 and 18 the unique opportunity to come to the Netherlands for a period of 3 to 10 months. During their stay, they are immersed in the Dutch language and culture.
They are taken in by their host family as an additional family member and become pupils at a regular Dutch-speaking HAVO or VWO. Within three months, they speak excellent Dutch!
Some of the students have been placed and have a home from August/September, but for some of them the school is still looking for a host family. For example, a secondary school in your area has made a commitment to accept and place students, but we are still looking for a home for them.
